Amanda & Brandon’s wedding day was filled with love and sentimental traditions. It was sweet how different family members contributed to the day in different ways to make it special and memorable. The dollar bill that had been carried by Amandas mother and sister in their wedding, was given to Amanda to carry with her through the day. The bottle of Bourbon that Brandon’s dad buried nearby to bring good luck and good weather. (which totally worked, because we were wearing sweaters by the end of the night)
Amanda was completely calm the entire day, and enjoyed every moment from getting ready to dancing at the end of the day. Brandon had a smile on his face every time I saw him and the guys enjoyed the cigar bar around the fire.
The most special thing that you have to know about this wedding was that it was on Amanda & Brandon’s land. They worked so hard, with the help of family and friends to make this day happen. They built this barn, and will soon build their home on the same land they said their vows on. It is so special and really is what marraige is all about. What an amazing way to start creating memories on the land you will share with each other.
I couldn’t have been happier to spend this day with Amanda. Who would have ever thought when we were in college together, that one day I would be photographing her wedding. Almost brings tears to my eyes!! I hope you can feel the happiness that was shared throughout this beautiful day.
