Cody & Maggie Engagement

Cody & Maggie mentioned that they would love to take their engagement pictures at Latta Plantation Park. I had never been there, but love exploring new places in and around Charlotte. Let me tell you, it was perfect. Even in all the dead of winter, it did not dissapoint.
I just have to tell y’all that I learned the most about Cody when Maggie and I went out for lunch one day to talk about all things wedding. Of course, we were at Chic-fil-a… I mean where else really is there. But she asked normal questions about the wedding day in general, told me about their locations and bridal party. We talked a little bit about photography. And then I said, “Well tell me about your man”. She took a deep breath with a huge smile coming across her face and I knew it was perfect. She had found her person. Told me all about how Cody makes her laugh and is silly with her. And let’s be real. That is all we need from the person we are going to spend our lives with. Support, love, and laughter.
After spending time with them during their engagement session, they have it. I took these pictures and scrolling through them, certain ones make me smile. I look so forward to their wedding day. Getting to see them again, watching them on a huge day in their lives, and being lucky enough to document all of the details that make their day special for them. I hope scrolling through these pictures brings you a smile or two. It is hard not to love, well love.
