This day was truly a breath of fresh air. Sydney and JR had to move their origional wedding date, but that didn’t stop them from having such a perfect day. They were blessed with gorgeous weather, and were surrounded by friends and family.
The daddy daughter first look had us all in tears. Funny thing is that Sydney’s dad had been looking for his tie for what seemed like hours… but she had something special planned for him. It was definitely worth the wait. JR and Sydney decided to exchange letters before the ceremony. It was so kind of everyone to give them privacy during this special time. And JR surprised Sydney with a painting of their new house with their sweet puppy sitting on the porch. It was preciuos and so thoughtful.
I met Sydney and JR for the first time on their wedding day. Normally, I get to know the couple at an engagement session or over some yummy food for a little meeting. So it was no surprise when we finally had a few minutes to ourselves on the day of, that we admitted to each other that we were nervous. Can I just tell you, it worked out just fine. Better than just fine. Their family and friends welcomed me in, helped me in any way they could, we knocked out tons of portraits in record time. They even sent me home with cake. I left this wedding feeling full of love and joy. Being around people who love each other will make you feel that way. I have no doubt Sydney and JR will be happy together for years and years to come.
